I have a few cigars that I think are dried out. They have been without a humidor for about a week to ten days. I live in a fairly dry climate (Denver). Do you think they have dried up by now? Can they be brought back to life in a humidor?

Yes, they can. But, be careful. Too much moisture can make them rot if given too fast. A few drops of brandy mixed in the water will help it to evaporate at a lower temperature.

My room mate smokes weed in our house in his room, I don’t smoke. He does it in his room with the door closed, I always spray air freshener when I smell it. Could a drug test come back positive on me?

Of ocurse you can. If you bring back to many you will have to pay import duty (tax). I forgot how much you can bring back from the DR. Oh….can’t be stuff made in Cuba. Shop around and on the beaches too. Resort stores have the worst prices. Probably local stores that the locals use will have the best prices.

I am heading to Punta Cana, DR in August and I wanted to bring some cigars back with me. What do I need to do in order to bring some back? Will I even be able to bring cigars back to the USA?

You can bring back Dominican cigars, but not Cuban. When you go to the Dominican Republic, you will be able to buy cigars of all sorts, including Cuban cigars, which are not available in the USA. You can buy Cuban cigars there, you can smoke them there, but you can not bring them to the USA.
That only applies to Cuban cigars, though. If you however purchase Dominican cigars (Dominicans use Cuban seeds to grow tobacco, so even though not quite equal to Cuban, quality of Dominican cigars is still great), or Honduran, or Costa Rican, etc. which you can bring with you to the USA as restrictions only apply to Made in Cuba goods.

Sorry no can do. Because they are illegal here. Found out by trying to send some “home” into The United States from Lebanon. Our customs seized them.

I am going on a rugby tour between these countries and my friend has asked for me to get him some cigarettes. We will be visiting either Singapore or Malaysia last (I cannot find the details at the moment) so I am wondering how many cigarettes I can bring home with me. Since you have not mentioned your home country therefore,generally 250 cigarettes, or 250 grams of cigars or tobacco products for each passenger aged 18 years or over are allowed as tax/duty free for travellers in most countries.For UK 200 cigarettes; or 100 cigarillos; or 50 cigars; or 250g of tobacco

I have friends here from the UK, and they would like to take some cigarettes back with them to the UK as our cigarettes taste better than theirs. The question is how many are they allowed to take.
