Question by : What cigarette brand do you recommend for someone who smokes Newports, wanting to try something new?
I smoke Newports, and I want to try something new. I like menthol. Please no answers about all the diseases from smoking, it is seriously not worth typing because i’ve heard it all. Just answer my question with a serious answer please. Thank you.

try Hoyo de monterrey, or Arturo fuente classico or annivesario or romero y juilita classico all in dark or maduro they are in the middle price range 4 to 6 $ if your with your friends an really don’t care just want to smoke to relax an dark try Punch London club maduro its less then 2 $ ea. Also try out macanudo Hampton court.

I was just wondering what – if any – cultural meanings were attached to brands / flavors of cigarettes among smokers. I smoke Marlboro Milds, and I’ve sort of gotten the vibes that this brand has certain stigmas attached to it. Just curious.

I have smoked cigars with friends in the past but I have no idea what brand they were. I know I like Mild-medium or medium flavored cigars, and the best one i ever smoked before was a Churchill or a double Corona although I don’t know exactly what the length/gauge was. Any advice on brands and prices would be great!
I tried posting this in the Culture section but all i got was a bunch of people telling me theyre bad for you. I am not asking how bad for you they are personally i dont care. If i die when im 70 from smoking one cigar a week then so be it.

E-cigs are not really cigs. They contain NO tobacco and they do NOT ‘SMOKE’. What you see is water vapor. Think of it like a home humidifier. You know how those make vapor which is visible. This is similar. The vapor produced and ex-haled by the user is just water vapor, and is safe to the user and to other people around the user. There is no smoke, no cabon monoxide, and NO carcinogens! They are legal to smoke indoors anywhere(provided the site owner allows). They do not go against any ‘no smoking’ laws as there is no tobacco and no flame. A wonderful, and safe, alternative to normal cigarettes. I do not recommend non-smokers try e-cigs. They are meant for smokers who want to use a safer alternative to get their nicotine!
I just happened to see a news report on a child who is only a two year old toddler smoking on a cigarette. I was so disgusted and full of rage when I saw that Sumatra news and I almost destroyed a 60 inch LCD TV screen. I decided to go outside and get some fresh air and walk it off and then once my kids were home from school I totally forgot about how angry I was. Now that they are in school today I was pondering that thought again and felt the need to grab my video camera and vent out. Now it is time for you to speak out and say what is on your mind. How do you feel about this? Post a comment or video response below. I work at home online and spend no more than 1 hour every other day on my online job so I have 23 hours a day to just either think about life or just go out and have fun so when my kids are in school I will find something to do since there is plenty of yard work to keep up with and many rooms to keep clean in the house. Summer vacation for my kids begins next week and we will be having the times of our lives. Love not having to be stuck around on a school schedule. We can travel this beautiful world and go anywhere we want at any given time. I hope I don’t see any young kids smoking around their parents this Summer otherwise I will be cooperating with the local police and social services to take care of the problem and help save a child’s life. Is there a brand that is (even just a little bit) less harmful? I’ve heard American Spirit have less additives but more tar.
Please, don’t turn this into a lecture about how all cigarettes are bad for you. I know. Anything you say about that will not make me change my mind. Don’t waste your time writing anything unless it’s actually answering my question.
